Lisa had been having trouble with her foot for a while and made the difficult decision to return to Auckland to see a chiropractor. So many obstacles for Lisa. I feel lucky to not have any trouble so far, long may it continue.
The trail out of Waipu Cove was over road and then gravel track before a very muddy and slippery section in the middle.
The descent into Mangawhai Heads was worth all the nondescript bits that had gone before.
Peter caught up with me just before I reached the holiday park and Armand came later. We were joined by Brad, only the second guy over fifty I’ve met on the trail so far, and by another TA’er who kept to himself.
