I had originally intended to take a zero day at Marsden Cove but owner Ann didn’t have a second night free. But her friend Vero had a room near Ruakaka, so I grabbed that. I spent a nice morning relaxing at Ann’s place, with a late check out. And then Vero picked me up after she collected her son from school and we drove down to Ruakaka. I just spent the afternoon catching up on blogs, researching next section and just recharging.
Had the playful company of a four month old puppy and another eight-year-old dog. It was serene. The house was perched atop hill with stunning views over Whangārei Harbour.
